I work mainly in acrylics and watercolours. My main passion is painting the essence of landscapes, seascapes and aspects of our beautiful natural world with movement, light and colour in a contemporary or sometimes more abstract style.

I enjoy experimenting with different media and techniques and usually find a way through all the learning to create something that I’m pleased with in the end, whether it’s for my sketchbook or a piece that I want to share.

​

My sketchbook and watercolours are always with me on days out and holidays. I aim to capture small scenes every day. I find that these little paintings of buildings and nature really bring the memories alive when looking back.

​

Art is always a learning experience for me and one which I plan to continue.
