Artist profile

I attended Bournemouth and Poole College of Art studying graphics and design, finally specialising in illustration.

 

Leaving Bournemouth for the bright lights of London my roles included working on The Yellow Submarine and various animation projects, followed by five years as in the production office of a London book publishers as well as carrying out freelance illustration assignments. I got married and moved to Gloucestershire where I helped in the family business and finally ended up in HR management.

 

I took up painting again around 15 years ago, mainly working with watercolours and pen and ink. My preferred subjects are landscapes and flowers, although most of my commissioned works are based on peoples pets.
