I came to painting later in life after finding painting materials in my late Father's belongings, I never knew he could paint! I thought if he could do it so could I !
Having trained and worked as an interior decorator for over 12 years when living in Scotland I have a
love of colour in all its hues. I am inspired particularly by the Scottish Landscape that surrounded me for many years, its dreary days and its wonderful big skies and empty beaches.
I started with watercolours, but most of my work is in oils which I love. More recently I have been experimenting with acrylics and mixed media.
