Privacy Statement for Cricklade Art Group (CAG): (to be filed with the Constitution and made available at every CAG meeting or event)

 

The Cricklade Art Group is registered with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the protection of members’ data and adheres to the rules of the GDPR.

 

The Secretary and Membership Secretary of the CAG and the Exhibition Organiser(s) reserve the right to hold the contact details of members who have given their explicit and uncoerced consent to do so.

 

If the Secretary or Membership Secretary of the CAG or an Exhibition Organiser relinquishes his/her post, he/she will delete all records at the time of handing over responsibility to another appointed person.

 

Contact details of members will be stored in a password-protected document on the computers of the CAG Secretary and the Exhibition Organiser(s) and removed if membership ceases, unless the CAG has the explicit consent of these former members to continue to send them CAG information or invitations.

 

Emails that are no longer needed will be deleted within a week of receipt. These contact details include the member’s name, postal address, email address and telephone no(s) for the purpose of sending information to members regarding the activities of the Cricklade Art Group.

 

These contact details will not be disclosed to any third party without the explicit and uncoerced written consent of individual members.

 

All emails to members will be sent as BCC so that names and email addresses are not visible to other members or any other person.
